APCA conference consultation event
On October 25, we held a consultation event on the International Classification of Dying Places (ICP) during the 8th International African Palliative Care and Allied Services Conference 2025, in Gaborone (Botswana)
Participants from several African countries joined the session, sharing valuable insights and perspectives on end-of-life care settings across diverse contexts.
This consultation aimed to gather feedback to support the ongoing development of a global classification of places of death — a crucial step to ensure that end-of-life care is available where people actually die and where they prefer to be.
