The Conference Climate Justice Activism: is it possible to change the world without breaking the rules? will be held on 11 December 2024.This conference is being organised as part of the ELCRA Project, in which the University of Coimbra participates as a partner, through the UCILeR, and aims to present the main results obtained from the research carried out up to the date of the conference. The conference will bring together researchers from the partner universities, university students and environmental activists to discuss issues relating to climate justice movements.

ELCRA is a project funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, which aims to understand the attitudes and opinions of university students on issues related to environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change, studying the phenomenon of youth participation in environmental activism movements as a preventative measure against radicalisation phenomena that can lead to violence.
