On the morning of 26 November, several UCILeR researchers will met with Professor Robin Wilson - University of Illinois College of Law, co-director and founder of the Family Law and Policy Programme and co-director of the Epstein Health Law and Policy Programme, specialising in family law and health law – to debate the issue of voluntary termination of pregnancy, a topical issue in Portugal and the USA, in the confrontation between the perspectives of civil and common law jurists, and the refractions at a personal, family, social and political level that call for vulnerability as a condition inherent to the human being and the best responses that the Law can offer.
