IJ participates in talks on DNA at secondary school
The UCILeR participated in three information sessions to show how DNA can be useful in civil identification, on 19 and 24 February. This activity was aimed at 12th grade students at the José Estêvão Secondary School in Aveiro, involving around 80 students and their biology teachers.
This activity followed on from the activity presented at the European Researchers' Night 2024 and was developed in partnership with the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences and the DNA Profile Database Supervisory Board.
