PASEP is a form of social support for students at the University of Coimbra. In addition to the social support granted, the activities carried out will be included in the Diploma Supplement.

The types of social support provided include:

  • Meal vouchers valid at SASUC food units;
  • Full or partial contribution to accommodation costs in SASUC residences;
  • Full or partial contribution to the tuition fees for the course in which the student is enrolled.

4) António Luís Gomes Social Action Fund

The António Luís Gomes Social Action Fund is intended to provide extraordinary financial support to full members of the Coimbra Academic Association, with the aim of preventing school dropout and reducing exposure to situations of severe socioeconomic vulnerability.

The support provided is aimed at addressing:

    • Proven emergency situations, in which the student is at serious risk of survival due to lacking, or having lost, the means to meet their basic needs, and whose situation also jeopardizes the continuation of their academic path;
    • Health-related situations, especially chronic and/or long-term illnesses, that involve essential and mandatory expenses which the student cannot cover and which, if not mate, put at risk the success and/or continuity of their academic journey.

Both national and international students may benefit from the António Luís Gomes Social Action Fund emergency financial support.
