Why did you decide to participate in PubhD Coimbra?

Because I am currently participating in conferences and publicizing my work. But, mainly, I like to disseminate and listen. I like feedback from the general public, and not just from academics in my field, but academics in general. And sharing this with people who do not have the same background as me is very interesting, because it makes it easier for me to use terms, to use a language, to get out of my comfort zone - so that I can restructure my own thinking, so that I can bring the concept to someone in a much easier way.

How was your experience in this edition of PubhD Coimbra?

It was far from what I had imagined, because I imagined something much more structured, much more rigid - rigid in a non-negative sense, but more like a "conference", because we expect that. I've never been to anything like that.

But it's very interesting because it's where I really like to talk, it's with friends, I like to explain, I like to chat. This warm interaction between people and people who are really interested - because if they came, it's not because they paid or because they're at a conference, it's because they really wanted to! This bar atmosphere, this relaxed atmosphere is very interesting.

Would you advise other colleagues to participate?

Of course! Of course, yes.
