Hugh Douglas Burrows

He is Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Coimbra. His scientific interests are in the following areas: properties of conjugated polymers, photochemistry of metallic ions, photodegration of pesticides, photopolymerisation, polymers and tensides, chemistry of colloides, ocular florescensce, and the behaviour of metallic soaps.
