Maria Ermelinda da Silva Eusébio

She holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering (1982) and completed a Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics (1987) at the University of Coimbra. She has been Auxiliary Professor in the Chemistry Department since 1995, the year she concluded her Doctorate, specialising in Chemical Thermodynamics. Amongst other disciplines, she has taught the following subjects at Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate level: Chemical Thermodynamics, Analytical Chemistry I and II, Advanced Instrumental Methods of Analyses and Chemical Energy and Equilibrium. Her research interests are focused on organic compounds in a solid chemical state, especially the polymorphism of active pharmaceutical ingredients and the research of pharmaceutical co-crystals.
