Strategic Guidelines

Within the framework of the actions of the Strategic Plan of the University of Coimbra (UC) 2015-2019, these are the main guidelines under internationalisation:

• Promote the UC opportunities of study, research, innovation and creation among the best international students, teachers, researchers, scientists and artists;
• Increase the UC networking asset by keeping and developing international partnerships, which strengthen the role of UC in the North-South/ West-East relations, within Europe and the Portuguese-speaking countries;
• Increase the capacity and visibility of the UC contribution to solve global problems and foster sustainable development;
• Consolidate the leading role of UC as a reference point for the Portuguese language and culture.
