International Staff Week 2025 |University of Coimbra
The upcoming International Staff Week (ISW) will take place from April 7th to 11th, 2025 at the University of Coimbra under the theme Building a Sustainable Future.
Considering that, for the fifth consecutive year, the University of Coimbra (UC) has been recognized as the most sustainable higher education institution in Portugal, and according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, UC ranks 57th globally and is also the most sustainable higher education institution in Southern Europe, the topics will focus extensively on the best practices of the University of Coimbra in this area.
This year’s International Staff Week is designed to provide participants with effective strategies for establishing, growing, and maintaining meaningful international collaborations. Featuring input from renowned experts, hands-on workshops, and global case studies, the event will explore best practices for aligning partnership goals with wider academic and institutional objectives. Participants will gain valuable insights into building partnerships that prioritize institutional impact and long-term, sustainable development.
Designed for international officers, faculty, and professional staff engaged in partnership development, this event offers a special chance to share ideas, learn from best practices, and build the groundwork for a global network focused on fostering a sustainable future.
