Present position: Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra

Research areas: Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing: extraction of geographic information from high resolution airborne digital images and laser scanning data for several applications: forestry inventories and urban flood modeling. Terrestrial Laser Scanning Systems and close range photogrammetry: radiometric and geometric modeling of 3D objects. Geographic Information Systems: developing solar radiation and radio propagation models in urban environments.
