Walking different paths and opening new doors in the quest for professional fulfilment

Teresa Girão is the director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra (JBUC). She studied Biochemistry and then moved to the areas of Biotechnology and Neurosciences. Teresa's path has made it possible to establish a professional career that allows her to guide the course of this emblematic space of the University of Coimbra, home to more than 1,500 plant species and a place to rest, walk, study and work.
