AlmaMater

AlmaMater is the digital library of old books of the University of Coimbra, represented by a vast collection of works, generally published before 1940, that values important nuclei of the rich bibliographic and documentary heritage of the libraries of several colleges of the University. 

AlmaMater brings together and treasures several digital collections from existing libraries: Digital General Library, Faculty of Arts and Humanities Digital Library, Faculty of Law Digital Library, Botany Digital Library and Digital Rómulo.

It also includes thematic libraries such as the Digital Republic, The History of Science in UC, 500 Years| 500 Books and Nabais Conde Maps.
