	Study shows that nanoplastics endanger freshwater ecosystems. The work concluded that environmentally relevant concentrations of nanoplastics pose a major risk to the basal trophic levels of food chains in small forested streams.
Renovation of São Pedro's wing and area of Sala dos Capelos. The restoration work taking place in Colégio de São Pedro and in the area of the Great Hall of Sala dos Capelos aims to give new life to the heritage of the University of Coimbra.
	CASS-UC Centre of China Studies with free online course. Aiming to boost mutual understanding between China and Europe, the training is delivered in English and online. Registration is free and is open until the 20th of February.
European consortium tests intervention to improve quality of life of older cancer patients. In Portugal the study is coordinated by two specialists in palliative care from the University of Coimbra.
	"UC Challenges for Global Sustainability" for Portuguese and Brazilian students. Registrations are open for Portuguese and Brazilian High school students and Portuguese UC students.
Innovation Award Bluepharma \| University of Coimbra with applications open until the 7th of March. The prize is awarded every 2 years to an innovative research project in the area of Health Sciences.
