The Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the UC celebrated its 250th anniversary with tributes to former Deans, special mentions to researchers, students and staff, and great joy! Congratulations to FCTUC!

Study published in “Nature” shows that global hotspots for soil nature conservation are poorly protected. The research work identifies the regions of the world that should have the highest priority for soil nature conservation, which are located in the tropics, Asia, North America and Europe.  nature
tbiScientists of the University of Coimbra study new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of traumatic brain injury. The research aims to find new answers to combat the side effects of this trauma, as well as to prevent the damage caused by a trauma, such as behavioural and brain changes.

BGUCThe University of Coimbra hosts the conference "Iconic Libraries in the History of Humankind". The event is promoted by the General Library and will take place on the 27th and 28th of October, at the Rectory Auditorium. Registrations are open.
