We are very close to knowing who is the personality granted with the 2017 UC Award. Stay tuned with uc.pt at around 1 pm.

The new governing bodies of the Coimbra Students' Union will take office today. The session will take place at the Central Auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the UC at 6:00 p.m. We wish all the best to the new President of AAC, Alexandre Amado.

The CES Award for Young Portuguese Language Social Scientists is back for its 10th edition. The award aims to reward high-quality work in the social sciences and humanities. Applications until 22 March.

Adriana Calcanhotto is almost starting her semester at the UC as invited professor. Between February and June you may attend master classes, workshops on writing, lectures, among other activities. Some events require registration at uc.pt/adrianacalcanhotto.

Applications are open to the new graduate course in digital marketing, starting on 25 November, offered by APEU.

Tomorrow, at 6 pm, do not miss the opening of the exhibition "Creare Mondi", by Enzo de Leonibus and the Triac collective. The exhibition will be displayed in the gallery of the College of Arts until 21 April, and can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 2 to 6 pm.

Also tomorrow, there will be another session of "Lojas de Saber" session, this time with the theme "Philological Fun - The Portuguese language is very tricky!", By Telmo Verdelho, Retired Professor at the University of Aveiro. The session begins at 6 pm in the Exploratory Auditorium.

If one of your New Year's resolutions goes through practicing more sport the UC gives you a helping hand. The Sports Office, together with several partners, offers several sports: judo, swimming, canoeing, physical condition and personal defense. You can sign up and get more information here.
