| The Project "Travessia Solidária", an initiative of the group "Anónimos", will ride on bicycle 738.5 kilometers between Chaves and Faro in order to raise funds for the purchase of sports equipment to the team of adapted handball of the "Centro de Medicina de Reabilitação da Região Centro. Find out how to help, either by donating or by joining the team during the course. |

| Tomorrow don't miss the lecture and opening of the exhibition "Bird-Watching". Both initiatives result from the conclusion of the post-doc project of Joshua Enslen in Literature materiality. The lecture takes place at 10:30 am at the "Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros" (FLUC), and the exhibition opens at 5 pm at the UC Science Museum. |
| Luis Sepúlveda and Richard Zimler will be at the Gil Vicente Theatre Hall on the 10th June at 5 pm. Free entrance for anyone willing to take part in this Literary Journey, promoted by Porto Editora, and which will be visiting 18 theatre halls across the country. |

| Until June 15, applications are open for the Prize of the Portuguese Society of Human Genetics 2016. The award is to be granted to Portuguese researchers who have published an original relevant paper in the area of human genetics in an indexed international journal. |
| The Association of Portuguese Postgraduates in Germany (ASPPA) is granting three scholarships to work at a company or institution in Germany, in close cooperation with a Portuguese person who lives and works there. Applications until 15 June. |
| Applications are open until 1 July to the VII Prémio de Direitos Humanos Rei de Espanha. ("7th edition of the King of Spain Human Rights Award") The award is aimed at public or private entities who have stood out in iberian/American countries in the defense and promotion of human rights and democratic values, or who have boosted research or the implementation of intervention programmes aiming at the promotion of these values. |
