| Today we congratulate the women's tennis team for their gold medal in the European University Games in Croatia. The Portuguese team of three UC students was the first to win a gold medal in this edition of the games. |
| "Quem somos"?/"Who are we?" is the theme of the 19th Cultural Week of the UC which will take place from 1 March to 1 May 2017. Project applications for the Cultural Week are open until 26 September. |

Coimbra will be the next city to host the European University Games (EUG 2018) and we are already getting ready. On 26 July at 5 pm, don't miss the inauguration of Sports Hall 1 at the Coimbra University Stadium, with the presence of the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues. |
| Tomorrow is the last day of another edition of the Summer University (Universidade de Verão | UV). Over 300 high school students have experienced life at the University of Coimbra for a week. |
| After fifteen days of intense work, the interventions by the team "Há Baixa" are coming to an end at Coimbra downtown. To mark the end of the activities, the "Há Baixa" stage, in Largo Romal, will host tomorrow at 10 pm the show Tim Tim por Tim Tum. |

| On Saturday at 8pm on channel RTP2 you can watch the documentary series “No Trilho dos Naturalistas”, produced by Terratreme in a partnership with The Centre for Functional Ecology of the UC. The show tells the story of the botanical expeditions carried out in Africa by naturalists from the UC since the 18th century. |
