The UC is participating in a research project which may be a breakthrough in aquaculture. A team of Portuguese and Spanish researchers have successfully tested a new diet for carnivorous fish produced in aquaculture that can help solve one of the great challenges of this business area.

The UC has a new research centre, CeBER - Center for Business and Economics Research (Centre for Research in Economics and Management of the University of Coimbra). Created by the Faculty of Economics, the centre aims to conduct scientific and applied research activities  in the fields of Economics and Management.

On the 12th we will be celebrating the Day of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC). Numerous activities will take place, including the exhibition that marks the 244th anniversary of the Faculty. Come celebrate with us!

From tomorrow night on the universe will be within your reach again. The Geophysical and Astronomical Observatory of the University of Coimbra reopens, and at 8 pm it will be possible to conduct nocturnal observations with the telescope at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation dome. Tomorrow the PhD students in Contemporary Art of the College of Arts invite you to attend another edition of the Open Showroom, an exhibition open to all academic community. At 6:30 pm, at the College of Arts.  

Another edition of the Festa das Latas e Imposição de Insígnias is about to start. The Sarau Académico takes place this Saturday night at TAGV. Parque da Canção will host concerts from the 12th to the 16th October. Check the activities shedule here.
