A Research team of CNC (Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology of the University of Coimbra) has been awarded the second prize of the Janssen Innovation award, in the framework of their research on the Machado-Joseph disease. The Faculty of Arts and Humanities will host today and tomorrow the colloqium "Medieval Portugal", which pays tribute to Professor Maria Helena da Cruz Coelho. The event will have the presence of several faculty and researchers from FLUC and also from other Portuguese and foreign universities. The 25 April Documentation Centre will host today a colloquium and a virtual exhibition about desertion and exile during the colonial war.
On Saturday, In the "Museum", Francisco Tropa, located at square Cortes of Coimbra (established in the framework of AnoZero - Contemporary Art Biennial of Coimbra) takes place the launch of the exhibitions Hot / Cold, curated by Jorge das Neves. Besides these, the Fine Arts Circle of Coimbra opens two other exhibitions on the same day. Applications to Arrisca C 2016 are open until October 30. More than Eur 100,000 in prizes which will be divided between the winning projects in the areas of Ideas and Business Plans, and Social Innovation. APEU will host the 18th edition of the "Statistical Analysis of Data with SPSS" Course. More information and registration here. |
