We start the day with good news: the UC is once again amongst the best Higher Education Institutions in the QS Employability Rankings. The 2016 edition places the UC in the world top 200. 

Today and tomorrow the Faculty of Law will host the international congress that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Civil Code. President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and the Minister of Justice Francisca Van Dunem will attend the event. 

Congratulations to Rómulo - Centro Ciência Viva of the UC, which celebrates its 8th anniversary. Starting at 4:30 pm, the Centre will offer numerous activities to mark the date. Check the schedule here. 

The Faculty of Science and Technology of the UC and Active Space Technologies have developed an innovative AGV - Automated Guided Vehicle, which aims to revolutionise the factory of the future. 

Tomorrow at 9:30 am, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences hosts the closing conference of the project "Incredible Years for the promotion of mental health", with the presention of the results of the various actions developed in the framework of the project.

The final sessions of the International Labour Conference (CIT): simulation in a university environment will take place on the 29th and 30th November. More information here.

A survey about the habits and satisfaction regarding SASUC canteens and cafeterias is being held until the 28th November. The goal of the survey is to collect information that allow to improve the quality of food services, tailoring them to the users' needs and expectations. 

Do you already know StartUP Voucher? This is one of the initiatives of the StartUp Portugal Program, which aims to promote the development of innovative business projects that are still only an idea. To learn more about this initiative, you may attend the information  session that will take place on November 30, at 2:30 pm, at the Auditorium of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of FCTUC.

From November 26 to December 10 the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra receives the APEU course "Creation of a Business". Registrations are open.
