The Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra celebrates its 44th anniversary on Friday. This year the celebration takes place at TAGV at 9:30 pm. Check the full schedule here. On 7 November, at 3:45 pm, the UC hosts the first edition of the Edutalks conference cycle, organised by the Education EDULOG think tank of Belmiro de Azevedo's Foundation. Registrations are open. Do you already know Missão País? It is a Catholic university volunteer project, in which students can volunteer in communities in different parts of the country, between 5 and 11 February 2017. You may attend the information session taking place today at Instituto Universitário Justiça e Paz, at 9:15 pm. The government has created a National Participatory Budget, in the framework of the national State Budget. Portugal Participatory Budget (OPP) is a democratic, direct and universal process through which people may decide on public investments in different government areas. Trough the OPP, citizens are invited to state their opinion on the EUR 3 million investment in the areas of culture, science, education and adult education in mainland Portugal and in the areas of law and internal affairs in the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira.
