The World Health Summit Regional Meeting will take place today and tomorrow at Convento de São Francisco with over 20 workshops and four plenary sessions (livestreamed at uc.pt) which wil debate global health issues. Check more information here.

DUC is an owl and the official Mascot of EUG2018, representing knowledge, wisdom, sagacity and culture while it keeps a dialogue with the UC Tower, seen from the University Stadium.

The SENZEB Project will be presented today in a conference at the Rectory Auditorium. 

Tomorrow the Faculty of Economics will host the conference "Investimento Empresarial e o Crescimento da Economia Portuguesa” at 2:30 p.m., with the presence of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Also tomorrow at 10 a.m. the colloquium “Infraestruturas de dados espaciais e outras ferramentas de apoio a uma decisão justa” will take place at the Faculty of Law of the UC, marking the launch of the JUST SIDE network, an Ibero-American research network led by the University of Coimbra.

The subject Bioterrorism - Biological weapons and International  Security will be on the table next Saturday at the Department of Life Sciences of the UC.

On April 27 we start saying goodbye to the 20th edition of the UC Cultural Week to the sound of jazz and other types of music (by TAUC, Tone Music School and Baila Sonero). The concert “(Re)Tocando o Jazz” will take place at 6 p.m. at the cloister of the College of Arts.

Registrations for the Summer University (UV) of the University of Coimbra are already open. This year the UV will take place from 2 to 7 July.
