Today at 7 pm Centro Cultural Dom Dinis will host the dinner/debate “A importância do desporto para a promoção de uma vida saudável” (The importance of sport in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle). The event will be attended by Francisca Laia, UC student and Olympic athlete, Mário Santos, coordinator of the UC Sports Office and secretary general of the EUG 2018 and António Queirós, Head of the SASUC health abd security management services.

The first results of the project  “Pinhal de Futuro – Rastreio e acompanhamento psicológico de crianças e adolescentes afetados pelos incêndios de 2017”, in which a UC research team is involved, will be presented next Saturdat at 5:30 pm at Escola Bissaya Barreto, in em Castanheira de Pera, with the presence of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

On 26 June the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra hosts the seminar “Incêndios: Saúde Pública e Segurança Alimentar” (Wildfires: public health and food safety) promoted by the Faculty and the Social Services of the University of Coimbra. Registration is mandatory.

Several exhibitions will be launched tomorrow at Colégio das Artes: “Super Amoled”, by Ana Catarina Fragoso, Martinho Costa and Carlos Noronha Feio; “Terra Firme”, by Pedro Vaz; “More News From Nowhere”, by Tiago Mestre; “Man With Really Soft Hands”, by Musa Paradisíaca and “Recobro”, de Valdemar Santos. The latter will be open until 27 July in Quarto 22. You may also watch the videoperformance "Bon", by Andrea Inocêncio.

On 19 June you can attend the session “Proteção de invenções nas ciências da saúde e ciências da vida: particularidades e exemplos práticos”. There will be a lecture followed by a personalised counselling session by João Jorge (RCF) – Protecting Innovation, S.A. The event is free but registration is mandatory.

The project to amend the Regulations of the Social Support Fund (until June 29) and the SASUC University Residences (until July 20) is under public discussion.
