The University of Coimbra continues to focus on improving its accommodation network for students and is about to invest about 300,000 euros in the rehabilitation of João Jacinto University Residence. The improvements will be carried out especially in the infrastructures of kitchens and bathrooms.
Tomorrow at 11:30 AM, the UC will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The session will be attended by Wang Jingqing, CASS vice president and senior Chinese government official. This is another step in the rapprochement between the University of Coimbra and the People's Republic of China.
The Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra is carrying out pioneering study on how to reduce the environmental impacts of pharmaceutical packaging. The focus on eco-design would enable the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the environmental impact of the packaging of medicinal products by up to five times.
