Rui Pedro dos Santos Lourenço

Rui Pedro Lourenço obtained his Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Coimbra University in 1992.

Since then, and until 1998, he worked as a systems analyst and programmer at several private companies.

In 1998 he joined the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra as an Assistant Teacher and obtained (2000) his Masters in Information Management degree. 

In 2008 he received his PhD in Management Science with the dissertation “Public Participation Support Systems: a Collaborative Writing Model” from Coimbra University.

He is currently Auxiliary Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Coimbra University.

He was appointed (full-time) Technical Advisor to the Cabinet of the Minister of the Presidency and Administrative Modernization (Portuguese Government) between January 2017 and February 2019.
