«Erasmus Mundus French and German Philosophies in the European Space»/«Filosofias Alemã e Francesa no Espaço Europeu»

The studies of 2nd. Cicle Master Erasmus Mundus “German and French Philosophies in the European Space”, has its coordination at the University of Toulouse II - Le Mirail and functions in association with a consortium which assembles the following nine European and three non-european universities: University of Toulouse II - Le Mirail, Catholic University of Lovaine-la Neuve, University of Luxemburg, Ruhr University Bochum, Bergische University of Wuppertal, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, University of Bologne, Charles University Prague, University of Coimbra, University of Memphis (USA), University of Hosei (Japan), University of São Carlos (Brazil). Over the course of two years, the students selected study for one to two semesters in three of the nine European universities associated for this program. During the two years, students write a research thesis under the direction of a researcher-teacher of the university at which they spend the final two semesters of their degree.

In Coimbra, the course is taught in French. Each of the two years successfully completed carries 60 credit points (ECTS).

In this context the University of Coimbra will offer a one semester course (30 ECTS) and the possibility to write a dissertation under the direction of one of the professors in charge of the course (60 ECTS).
