The Milipeia cluster is made of:

2 management nodes: Sun Fire X4100:

2 x Opteron 275 CPUs (double core @ 2.2 GHz)
8 GB RAM
2 x 36GB SAS hard disks (RAID 1)
4 x 1Gbps network connections (Data + MPI)

1 x FiberChannel Sata Array: Sun 3511 StorEdge

6 TB of capacity
2 x 1 Gbps fibre-channel connections to each management node

130 computing nodes: Sun Fire X4100:
