Ana Isabel Martins | (Council) Board of Directors of ISHR

We are very pleased to announce that CECH Collaborator Researcher Ana Isabel Martins has been appointed to the (Council) Board of Directors of the International Society for the History of Rhetoric (ISHR) since July 2025, with a term until 2029.

This appointment is particularly significant as it is the first time that Portugal has secured representation on the Council, in a context where there were several competing applications from Spanish colleagues, some of whom are Full Professors.
