Joaquim de Carvalho Award presented to Virgílio Hipólito Correia

The CECH is pleased to announce that the Joaquim de Carvalho Prize (16th edition) has been awarded to CECH Integrated Researcher Virgílio Hipólito Correia for his work "Conimbriga: the life of a city of Lusitania".

The Magnificent Rector of the University of Coimbra and the Director of Coimbra University Press are pleased to invite you to the award ceremony, which will take place today, 2 October 2025, at 12:00 a.m., in the Senate Room of the University of Coimbra.

This distinction, awarded by a multidisciplinary jury, highlights outstanding research dedicated to the study of historical and cultural heritage.
