The PhD in Classical Studies provides advanced training in the field of Classical Antiquity, both for candidates with previous training in this field of knowledge and for candidates from other areas – particularly Modern Literature, History, Philosophy, and Law – who wish to investigate aspects related to the worldview of Ancient Cultures (thought, society, politics and culture).
Through an open intercultural dialogue, the aim is to deepen reflection on aesthetic, political, religious, and educational paradigms, and the way they shaped identities and readings of the world, in a continuous process of cultural enrichment.
