The S. Bento building holds the memory of the teaching of Anthropometry in Coimbra

The Criminal Anthropology Course was authorized in the academic year 1908-1909 under the name of “Anthropometry Course” and was essentially aimed at lawyers. It benefited from the creation of the Anthropometric Post, attached to the Anthropological Laboratory, in 1911, evolving as a course essentially serving criminology.
