toutinegraStudy concludes that migratory birds have limited potential to help plants face climate change. A study published today in the journal Nature, with the participation of researchers from 13 European institutions, including the University of Coimbra (Centre for Functional Ecology | UC) concluded that migratory birds disperse seeds mainly in the opposite direction to what would be needed to help plants escape climate change.

Study assesses the impact of Covid-19 on future plans and levels of acceptance of restrictions by younger generations in three tourist-destination countries.

A study conducted with young people from Portugal, Egypt and Turkey, led by a UC researcher, shows that the pandemic had a strong impact on daily routines and future travel plans.
