| UC research team develops new bioprocess to recycle photovoltaic waste. The FCTUC team is working on a project that aims to create an innovative process to recycle solar panels waste, a highly toxic waste for the environment, by using bacteria that capture the waste, allowing their use in areas such as Biomedicine and Biotechnology. | |
| The Science and Technology Week 2022 takes place from the 19th to the 27th of November, and will be celebrated at the University of Coimbra with dozens of activities. | |
| The UC teams “SAFE Pack” and “ReneWaste” have won the first and second prizes (respectively) in the 2022 Urban Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, promoted by the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities – GISU. The competition took place on the 15th of November at the University of Padua, Italy. | |
