	The University of Coimbra hosts the national Transparency Authority (Entidade para a Transparência). The entity will be based at the Colégio de Santa Rita (Palácio dos Grilos) and will have as president Ana Raquel Moniz, professor at the UC Faculty of Law.
Study of the University of Coimbra analyses 70 European banks and alerts to the impact of earnings management on banking efficiency. The research analysed data from 70 of the 117 banks supervised by the European Central Bank, including two Portuguese banks.
	University of Coimbra joins project to create a European Network for Circular Bioeconomy. The consequences of combining a linear economy with widespread urbanisation have aggravated some of the problems chronically experienced by people in rural areas.

	Applications are open for the 4th edition of the UC programme "Seed Projects for Interdisciplinary Research". Applications deadline: 15 February 2023, 5 pm.
Study of the University of Coimbra analyses the Impact of COVID-19 in the Quality-of-Life perception among young residents and visitors. The results suggested that despite the pandemic, residents and tourists have a high " Quality of Life Perception".
