The project "Metabolic radiotherapy in cholangiocarcinoma: from basic research to clinical practice", which includes two researchers from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, has been funded by the Brazilian National Council of Scientific and Technological Development.

On 4 January, the Auditorium of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Coimbra hosts the workshop "Applied Machine Learning: Concepts and Case Studies", with speakers from Google-DeepMind, FeedZai, Wizdee, ISR-UC and CISUC. More information here.

On 10 January, the Auditorium of the Faculty of Science and Technology will host the Public Debate on the Science & Technology system, Higher Education and Scientific Employment, promoted by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
