Videomapping is back to the UC! From 16 to 21 July in the Pátio das Escolas of the University of Coimbra. There will be two sessions every night at 10 and 11 pm. Tickets for sale at Teatro Académico de Gil Vicente and at tagv.bol.pt.

Next Saturday at 10 a.m 8 Ph.D.s of the Faculty of Medicine will have their insignia ceremony at Sala dos Grandes Atos (Sala dos Capelos).

Another edition of the UC Summer University will start on Monday. During a week the participants will take part in a series of pedagogical and cultural activities, where they will get to know what we do best in our institution and in our city. Welcome to the UC!

The second meeting of the General Council of the University of Coimbra (CG / UC) took place on June 25, 2018. During the meeting it was agreed that, under the present conditions, the UC should not follow the foundational model. The schedules for the election of the Rector and the members of the General Council representing the students were approved.

The General Study (Estudo Geral), the digital repository of the scientific production of the University of Coimbra, completes its 10th anniversary on June 30. The General Study hosts nearly 31,000 documents, 82% of which are of open access, and already registers 13 million downloads.

Registrations for the ATL of the University of Coimbra are open until July 15 and will take place from 6 to 24 August. The activity is aimed at children from 2 to 10 years of age.
