Maria do Castelo Gouveia is Assistant Professor at Coimbra Business School | ISCAC, Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra. Graduated in Mathematics from Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra (1997). She has a M. Sc. degree on Information Management in Organizations from Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra (2002) and a PhD in Business Management, from Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra (2012). The main research area is Operational Research and Data Science, with emphasis on the development of models for evaluating efficiency and productivity evolution using the Data Envelopment Analysis Technique. She is Director of the Degree in management informatics of Coimbra Business School | ISCAC and Member of the Representative Council and Scientific Council of Coimbra Business School | ISCAC. She is the author of some articles published in international journals (indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus), in Management Science
