	UC Alumni Network in Mozambique: the Association of Former Students - Alumni Network of the University of Coimbra (UC) was presented on the 27th June in Mozambique. The ceremony took place in Maputo and included the intervention of the former President of the Mozambican Republic (and Doctor Honoris Causa from the UC) Joaquim Chissano.
Project with the participation of the UC wins over 2 million euros to support young cancer survivors. Creating tools for the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and breaking the stigma associated with survivors are the main goals of the European project "Outdoor Against Cancer Connects Us".
	Revista Crítica de Ciências Sociais Prize awarded ex æquo. Articles from researchers of the Centre for Social Sciences of the UC won the Award.
The Academic Orchestra of the University of Coimbra (OAUC) will perform at the European Student Orchestra Festival (ESOF), taking place from the 30th June to the 3rd July. The event will gather concerts of nine university orchestras from all over Europe.
