Design of computer controlled systems in state-space: regulation and tracking control.  Controller with Kalman observer.  

Discrete-time optimal control with state-space methods: LQR and LQG control. Applications in robotic and mechatronic systems. Introduction to nonlinear control.

Evaluation method: 

A combination of the following methods will be employed: tutorial guidance classes; seminary classes; laboratory work or field work and/or synthesis work and/or research work.
