Syllabus:

In this course we provide a solid introduction to the field of metamaterials, and discuss in detail the interaction between electromagnetic radiation and novel structured media, and how by introducing a new length scale in conventional metals and dielectrics – by tailoring the microstructure – it is possible to radically change the wave propagation properties.
