MATHEMATICS TEACHERS WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY
Ornella Robutti, Università di Torino, Italy
Teachers’ working - and learning - in collaboration with the use of technology is a theme that had a particular development in the last years, and it has been studied from many perspectives. Communities of teachers in professional development activities, in interaction with researchers, will be presented, observing their working and learning practices in evolution over time. The fact that teachers may evolve during their educational activity can be observed in relation to the interaction with colleagues, the collaboration with researchers, the use of technological devices, the experimentation in their classes of new activities and teaching practices. Teachers’ educational activity takes place in the institutions, which is the context that can influence their choices in working and learning. Observing teachers also gives insights to their approach to teaching in their classes, with the use of innovative technologies and methodologies.
