Carlos Henggeler Antunes, Professor at the EfS Initiative of the University of Coimbra (UC), among the best in the world in the field of Computer Science in 2020

Professor Carlos Henggeler Antunes, Urbano José Nunes, and Jorge Cardoso are among the best in the world in the field of Computer Science in 2020, according to the 6th edition of the annual ranking produced by the Guide2Research portal.

Guide2Research prepared the classification table based on the h-index and the analysis of the number of indexed publications, also considering the awards and distinctions of each scientist. 

Urbano José Nunes and Carlos Henggeler Antunes are professors in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC) and Jorge Cardoso in the Department of Computer Engineering (DEI), Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra (FCTUC). 

This annual ranking aims to give the academic community more visibility and show the most important scientific contributions made by those who are at the forefront of Computer Science. 

There are 13 Portuguese researchers in the table of this edition.
