On November 15th at FEUC, in Amphitheater 3.2, at 2:15 pm, there will be an open lecture within the Energy Economics and Energy Markets discipline by Prof. Edmilson Moutinho dos Santos, Engineer and economist graduated from the University of São Paulo. Ph.D. in Energy Economics from the French IFP Nouvelles Energie (former French Petroleum Institute).
Associate Professor and President of the Post-graduate Committee in the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo; Coordinator of the Economics and Energy Policy Program at the Research Center for Gas Innovation, RCGI (project jointly supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP, and SHELL BRAZIL); Coordinator of the GASBRAS Project, R&D Network for Non-Conventional Gases (project supported by the Federal Funding Authority for Studies and Projects, FINEP, which is a Federal supporting agency linked to the Ministry of Science of Technology).
Professor Moutinho dos Santos develops research activities and advanced studies focused on the more sustainable uses of hydrocarbons, with particular emphasis on the fuel gases (natural gas, LP gas, biogas, hydrogen), as well as on the management, transportation, storage and use of CO2. He contributes to the scientific advancement, industrial innovation and knowledge diffusion in the subjects related to the economics, regulation and political aspects of Energy.
