The Sustainable Campus Network (RCS) was created at the Sustainable Campus Meeting (ECS), organized by the EfS Initiative Sustainable Campus Committee, which took place in late 2018 at the University of Coimbra.

The Sustainable Campus Network Portugal (RCS-PT) aims to promote sustainability issues in Portuguese universities and polytechnics and consequently contribute to a more sustainable society.

Do you know that in the 1st Sustainable Campus Conference, which took place on October 31 2019 at FEUP, 12 out of 14 universities, 12 out of 15 polytechnic institutes, and 4 out of 5 non-integrated higher schools, signed a Letter of Intent that constitutes a commitment to principles and sustainability practices in higher education
