During the last African Energy and Renewable Energy Week, held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, the EfS PhD student Mounirah Bissiri was awarded the 3rd Prize in the category "Best scientific presentation" during the closing ceremony.

Mounrirah presented “Une refonte des stratégies d’électrification en Afrique de l’Ouest”, in the context of her PhD research, supervised by Profs Pedro Moura, Patrícia Pereira da Silva and Nuno Figueiredo.
