The Energy for Sustainability Initiative of UC promotes an annual meeting between students from its Master's and Doctoral programs, their professors and the companies and organizations of its External Advisory and Assessment Board (CEAA). This important contact between teachers, students, and the business world aims to promote innovation and knowledge transfer by making known the research developed at the University of Coimbra and also providing potential bridges for the development of innovative technological solutions. One of the ways used to ensure proximity to the reality of the business world is to hold lectures addressed to the Masters and Ph.D. students of the EfS Initiative, but open to the entire UC community.

The meeting, which also aims to strengthen cooperation with companies and the development of joint R&D activities, will take place on February 12, 2020, at the Institute for Research and Technological Development for Construction, Energy, Environment and Sustainability (Itecons).
