Jorge Marques received a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics as well as a M.Sc. in Mathematical Physics from the School of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra.
In 2007 obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematical Economics from the School of Economics at the University of Coimbra.
He is currently assistant professor in the School of Economics at the University of Coimbra.
He is also a researcher at the CeBER.
His research interests are focused in the area of the differential equations (ODEs and PDEs) and its applications in economics.
He has presented communications in international meetings.
He was a visiting professor in the Institute of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (work jointly with colleagues).
