The specific recognition of the Master’s Degree in Medicine follows what is established in the Regulation for the procedure of the Specific Recognition concerning the Integrated Cycle of Studies of the Master’s Degree in Medicine of the Portuguese Medical Schools, available at https://www.uc.pt/en/academicos/regulamentos/regulamentos

>> Applications whose file has been forwarded by the Universities to the Medical Schools until 16th November 2020 (limit date).

| GRADE ROSTER CONCERNING THE PROFICIENCY TESTS IN BASIC COMMUNICATION
Specific recognition of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine - Alternative examination period
We inform that in order to comply with the personal data protection legislation, the final grade of the written exam concerning the Specific Recognition of the Cycle of Studies of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine will be communicated to each applicant individually by means of email message.
The grade roster may be consulted by the applicant, in person in their individual file.
PRACTICAL / CLINICAL EXAMS
We inform the applicants who were admitted and with a successful assessment concerning the written exam that the practical/clinical exams provided for in the subparagraph b) of article no. 9 of the Regulation no. 173/2020 – Regulation on the Recognition Process specific to the Integrated Cycle of Studies of the Master's Degree in Medicine at the Portuguese Medical Schools – will take place on 11th and 12th May 2021 at the Coimbra University Hospital Centre - Coimbra University Hospitals (CHUC-HUC) according to the following schedule:

|||Discussion of the report||CHUC-HUC, room 21 – at HUC Auditorium||The applicants should arrive at the exams location until 08:50 a.m.|
For applicants who would sit the exam on 27th May – which has been cancelled – as well as applicants whose requests are forwarded to the Faculty of Medicine until 31st July 2020. Please note that the Academic Management Services only send the requests to the Faculty of Medicine after all the documents are duly submitted.

Scheduling of the exams / Assessment components / Academic Year 2021/2022
In accordance with the Regulation on the Recognition Process specific to the Integrated Cycle of Studies of the Master's Degree in Medicine at the Portuguese Medical Schools, the Council of the Medical Schools establishes the calendar for the exams/assessment components regarding the academic year 2021/2022 as follows:
|Proficiency Test in Basic Communication (Portuguese Language)||26/11/2021 at 9h00 a.m.|
|Specific recognition exam – written exam||07/01/2022 at 9h00 a.m.|
|Specific recognition exam – Practical /Clinical Exam||Preferably between April and May 2022 (on a date to be defined by each Portuguese Medical School)|
|Specific recognition exam – Submission of the final work of the Integrated Master’s Degree||6 months after the successful assessment in the practical/clinical exam|
|Specific recognition exam - Discussion of the final work of the Integrated Master’s Degree||Up to 2 months after the submission of the final work (date to be defined by the appointed examination board)|
- Only candidates, whose application file was duly sent to the Faculty of
Medicine of the University of Coimbra until 1st October 2021
15th November 2021(changed according to the Announcement of the Council of Portuguese Medical Schools of 29th July 2021), or the next working day (article no.14 of Regulation 173/2020 of 2nd March), will be admitted to sit the Specific Recognition Exam of the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine.
